Attack to impress gang lands local man in prison

But according to James A. Miller of Chesapeake, it is even harder to be a white gangster.

In an interview with police last year, Miller a 20 year old gang member who was sentenced Thursday to three years in prison said the Bloods are racist. That, he said, was why he had to assault a man, whom he had never met, in front of the man's girlfriend and 2 year old son.

"It's no secret these facts are terrible," said Robert Wegman, Miller's attorney. To his client, however, it was the only way he could earn the respect of his peers.

"This is a man with a very severe learning disability. He has low self esteem. Low education," Wegman said.

Miller, one of 80 members of the Bloods currently in Chesapeake according to police, pleaded "Jintropin (Gensci Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.)" guilty in October to malicious wounding and gang charges. He was sentenced to 20 years in "Anabolika Definition" prison, with all but three years suspended.

Prosecutors asked for an active sentence of five years or more.

Miller's younger brother, who also was involved in the assault, pleaded guilty in December to one count of malicious wounding. Jeremy Miller, 16, is to be sentenced March 15.

According to court documents, James Miller approached Michael Beatty on May 18, 2012, while he worked on his girlfriend's car in the 1400 block Testosterone Propionate 100mg of Deep Creek Blvd. He asked if the woman standing nearby was his "girl" and whether he was ready to fight for her.

Beatty tried to ignore the comments and continued to work on the car.

"I told him I don't have time Sustanon 250 Side Effects Hair Loss for this," Beatty said outside the courtroom. "I "Anadrol 50" just thought he was drunk."

While a crowd of other young people watched from across the street, James Miller grabbed Beatty by the ankles, dragged him into the grass and started to punch and kick him. Jeremy Miller eventually joined the assault.

After a couple of minutes, James Miller told his younger brother they had to go, that the police were on their way.

"Not yet," Jeremy Miller responded, according to court documents. "I'm not done. He is still moving and breathing."

When they heard sirens, the brothers left Beatty on the ground with a mild concussion and bruises on his face, chest and back.

Police quickly located James Miller and arrested him. Miller confessed to police that he assaulted Beatty to impress his friends.

During Thursday's sentencing hearing, Detective Wallace Chadwick of the Chesapeake Police Department's gang suppression unit said the Bloods are one of seven or eight gangs operating in the city. He said they have identified about 800 gang members.

"Every high school has them," he said. "Socioeconomics does not matter."

While Beatty's injuries have healed in the past 10 months, the assault has changed the lives of him and his family. They immediately moved after the attack. For months afterward, his child woke up screaming.

"You don't think anything like this is going to happen to you," Beatty said. "Now, I'm just trying to forget it."COMMENTS ADVISORY: Users are solely responsible for opinions they post here; comments do not reflect the views of The Virginian Pilot or its websites. Don't ever ask me again in your cynical manner why I carry a gun in my own yard and anywhere else it's legal. This news story is the perfect case study that supports my right to defend myself and my family anywhere, any time, any way. This kid and his brother are "Oxandrolone Powder India" lucky they didn't get killed over this act of stupidity. And to boot, big brother will be out in a mere three years thanks to a misguided judge. Tell me again why you feel justified in disarming me?

Perhaps your time would be better spent fixing the bad guys.

I saw a video yesterday of a lady at an anti gun rally telling a reporter that she would rather let someone murder her than defend herself with a gun. That gives very telling insight into the mind of the liberal.

Most liberals are, like this lady, cowards. They have every right to be, but liberals have NO RIGHT to try to force the rest of us to act like cowards. If you're afraid of guns, don't buy one. But do not interfere with the rest of us, who are not afraid to defend our families from violent criminals. I would rather die, than NOT defend my family.

The problem is soft judges NOT doing theirs. It doesn't matter if it's the repeat offender of DWI who the judge lets off easy time and time again or the punk little gang member given break after break by soft judges. Maybe it's time to take a look at WHY the judges are being soft. Could it be that a little payoff action is going on under the table to the judge from the defense attorney? It will be interesting to hear this punks brothers sentence will be. This punk initiated the attack on an innocent law abiding citizen and then Tren 75 Stack his punk brother joined in. They both should be charged with attempted murder after hearing the younger punk say "I'm not done. He is still moving and breathing." Bury these punks under the prison.

There are a few tings missing here, I haven't heard remorse in this indiviual and I haven't heard his resignation from gang life. That said, a light sentence is most inappropiate but the judge probably worried about being overturned if he gave someone considered mentally challenged a stiff sentence. This man is and will be a future threat to society, not to mention he is plain stupid to join a gang who doesn't want "Achat Anabolisant Belgique" him in the first place. This is a good case for lock him up until he is too old to be a threat, and stay away from the law abiding person's right to firearms. I wonder what the story line would be if the victim or his girlfriend had killed both of these two? How many of you think they would have been charged?
